Once upon a time there was a porpoise
who found a man swimming far from the shore.
The sea was warm that day,
deep blue and clear at the same time.
The porpoise nudged the man to say Hello
and the man turned back to the land, gasping
and splashing wildly. Sun lit the foam bright
white around the creatures, both half
underwater. The porpoise splashed
along with his new friend, getting more and more
excited, leaping onto the man again and again.
He wanted to show just how much
beauty there was beneath the surface. It was
going to be a great day.

Different... I wasn't too sure about
"Sun lit the foam bright
white around the creatures, both half

but I liked the rest, and the ending. Could be just the line breaks in that descriptive bit, and 'sun lit' ... too much like sunlit? Or maybe that bit's not needed...

(tweebird amended btw)
